Roomies in LA?

Hi all, I decided to post this direct to different parent tribes to keep it more private/personal. I am facing a living situation challenge, and so decided to chock up an idea to other parents out there........

We are an expectant couple looking to rent a house with yard/garage with another person/s (with baby/child?) in West LA or Topanga. Our baby is due in March.

We both have excellent references, are disciplined/organized but not high stress, and hope to meet the same. We figure we could get a nicer place by joining forces :) !

Any feedback on this would be appreciated.

    did you ever get any takers?

    my hubby and i are going to have to move at some point, hopefully soon. the building we live in was sold and the new owners are evicting all the tennants, but they haven't delivered the notices yet. not too sure how much longer it's going to be, but we may be interested in trying to find some roomies in order to rent a house. isn't it crazy how expensive rent is in LA now??? eegads!

    we also have good references, but i have to be honest, i'm not the most organized person in the world. i try though! fortunately, craig makes up for it.

      Thanks for the response! Wow, some time has passed since that post of mine, our then "due" baby is now 8 1/2 months old.

      We ended up in a small space by ourselves...which worked but is now getting a little tight. We would love to move again this January, and would consider a family share type situation again if that would mean a house/yard/garage possibility.
